- Prepare loan documentation for new loans, renewals, and modifications.
- Review credit approvals and handle transactions from approval to close.
- Order, prepare, and review lien searches to clear any liens and encumbrances on equipment to be financed.
- Consult with outside parties as needed, to resolve any funding hurdles.
- Facilitate transaction pipeline to ensure timely approval of funding, in accordance with company goals and processes.
- Interact with internal and external parties to take a loan from approval to funding.
- Pre-closing review of funding package for completion and accuracy prior to closing.
- Work closely with Customer Service/Accounting to prepare wires and coordinate disbursement of loan proceeds.
- Follow up with customers, other departments, and 3rd parties for any post-closing items that are outstanding.
- Safeguard confidentiality and protected information covered by privacy law and company policy.
- Some travel may be required.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Must have experience in financial service industry, specifically relating to commercial lending, loan review, loan documentation, and lien perfection.
- Experience with review and approval of loan packages for funding a plus.
- Previous funding authority experience is preferred.
- Must possess a strong understanding of UCC lien searches and how to identify and address blanket and specific liens.
- Must possess a strong understanding of different types of business entities and structures.
- Must be customer service focused, actively looking for ways to meet the customers' needs.
- Must be able to organize and prioritize work to manage time effectively to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Exposure to varied environments where finance and credit decisions are being made in a commercial credit/documentation environment, including ability to apply relevant concepts and best practices.
- Vehicle Title work knowledge is preferred.
- Must be extremely detailed oriented and focused.
- Must be comfortable in fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, critical thinking, and analytical skills a must.
- Must work independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to read, speak and write English.
- Ability to use sophisticated computer software programs to achieve job functions.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Positions self to install equipment, including under desks.
- Moves throughout the building to access files.
- Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
- Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.
- Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed.
- Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.
