Job summary
This position is responsible for the routine calibration and testing of substation equipment, network equipment, distribution equipment, and communication systems utilized on the Eversource system.This person is also responsible for minor troubleshooting and repairs.
Under general supervision directs performs and is responsible for routine calibration and testing assignments requiring a thorough knowledge of cognizant rules regulations and procedures and a working knowledge of the company's engineering practices applicable to their area of activity.
Work assignments require proficiency in diverse phases of the company's engineering or technical activities in connection with the design construction operations utilization inspection testing maintenance equipment apparatus structures safety procedures.
- DIRECTS AND INSTRUCTS OTHER POWER SYSTEMS TECHNICIANS ASSISTING IN THE PERFORMANCE OF AN ASSIGNMENT AND OTHERS AS DIRECTED.
