    The Assistant Controller role is part of the leadership team and will directly report to the Controller.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for month-end financial closing and reporting, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and preparation of financial statement reports
    • Monthly internal/external reporting requirements including reporting to senior leadership
    • General Ledger enhancements/upgrades/new module testing and implementation
    • Responsible for various projects aimed at improving processes and efficiency
    • Highly visible role performing special projects as requested, including ad-hoc analysis in support of senior management
    • Manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail and accuracy
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA or Masters a plus
    • 4+ years' relevant experience
    • Solid understanding of GAAP and applicable regulations
    • Heavy experience with financial reporting
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze problems, recommend solutions and deliver results
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Track record of working independently with limited required direction and guidance on simultaneous projects and teams
