We source, negotiate, track and ship a wide variety of commodities anywhere, at any time by land, sea or air with the consignment easily being tracked at each and every stage.

The Commondi name comes from the word "Commodities" and Worlds "Mondi".

Job Description

We are looking for a person with "Purpose" driven mentality and actions.

The Chief of Staff is a strategic thinker, master of multi-tasking and tactical detail, helping the founders best leverage time and resources to manage the operations of the business across multiple functions.

This role combines strategic planning, business management, internal communications, and cross-functional initiatives.

This role will ensure full alignment within our leadership team, and be a key driver in our mission to drive optimal performance and accelerate the company.

Adapting and outmaneuveringany obstacle that gets in front of you is crucial to the success of this role and to the company.

This is a highly influential position at this leading International Trade company reporting directly to the Founders, but limiting taking things to them when you need to inform, since you will be ABLE to solve anything that comes your way before it reaches them.

Crazy hours is common in this business because of the international scope, but the rewards are far greater.

Pushing the limits and boundaries, constantly learning and the outcome of what we are creating will change the world by helping less fortunate people and children worldwide.

Monitor progress of key initiatives and priorities by meeting regularly with managers to track results and challenges, ensuring that company commitments and priorities are being executed

Keep team focused and aligned on priorities by leading the company's goal setting and operational planning process

Attend meetings and participate in projects with, or on behalf of, our Executive team

Facilitate effective use of functional meetings such as weekly Executive team meetings, All Hands, board meetings, and quarterly leadership offsites

Provide support on agendas and direction for meetings led by the CEO, ensure there are clear action items and follow ups after every meeting

Serve as the central point of contact for all internal communication

Drive strategic cross-functional initiatives, projects, and commitments most important to the leadership team

Successfully complete critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting correspondence and presentations, and other tasks that facilitate the CEO's ability to effectively execute on top priorities

Manage the business and product roadmaps with the leadership team

Collaborating on metrics tracking and KPIs for Operating team

Annual strategic planning and budgeting
Qualifications

Detail oriented with an ability to think strategically and make recommendations.

Excellent data analysis and reporting skills

A Bachelor's degree and at least 10+ years of relevant experience - MBA preferred

Law degree/Paralegal experience in corporate/contract law a plus

Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills

Strong organizational skills with excellent relationship building, communication skills and negotiation skills

Self-starter attitude and track record with seamlessly executing quickly on complex projects with minimal guidance

Ability to research complex topics with overlapping technology, finance, legal, and general management issues

Excellent written and verbal presentation skills while leveraging Google Applications

Deep knowledge and demonstrated experience working with product teams

Understanding of roadmapping and business strategy

Business versatility

Exceptional verbal and written communications skills, along with strong emotional intelligence

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word is an absolute must

Ability to exercise the utmost discretion and maintain confidentiality on all matters

Ability to handle pressure calmly with all levels of personnel and external parties

Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills

Elevated level commitment to excellence and ability to perform to the highest standards
