    Pearson Virtual Schools provide high-quality, highly accountable online education solutions to schools, school districts, and students in grades K-12.     The Digital Asset Analyst will be responsible for creating courses, assisting with course metadata and catalog change requests, and maintaining course catalogs in all necessary platforms and school locations.

    Core Tasks and Responsibilities:

    Create course containers for upcoming content development projects and school requests;

    Adjust course metadata and course catalogs based on internal and school requests;

    Ensure the accuracy of course metadata and course catalogs;

    Work with various departments to manage and maintain course metadata and course catalogs;

    Effectively manage various tasks and deadlines on a daily basis;

    Provide subject matter expertise to other department teams for various course management efforts;

    Communicate with others in a professional and helpful manner while simultaneously building credibility and rapport. This includes the ability to problem-solve, be diplomatic and tactful, demonstrate appropriate behavior in social situations and maintain composure in negative circumstances in order to achieve results;

    Manage the work efforts to train staff members on the use of educational-related or department-specific tools. This includes the ability to present information in a logical manner and check for understanding to ensure transfer of knowledge and skills and;

    Other duties as assigned.

    Preferred Skills:

    Degree, certification, or relevant professional experience in education, education technology, mathematics, data management, or a related field

    High degree of comfort and experience with technology, data systems, learning platforms, and reporting tools, preferably within an educationally based organization

    High level of confidence and proficiency with data and reporting tools such as Excel and PowerBi

    Familiarity with ADO and participating on a team that follows the Agile framework is preferable

    Recognizes the impact of change on others, and leads through positive behavior and coaching

    Solves problems by using expertise to evaluate multiple sources of information, and creating innovative solutions to problems

    Highly effective communicator

    Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:

    The minimum full-time salary range is between $49,000 - $55,000.
