    Primary ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Plumbing Engineer, we'll count on you to:
    Provide plumbing system design and layout utilizing AutoCAD and Revit, including coordination with all disciplines.

    Perform calculations, equipment selection and other related design tasks under the guidance of the Project Manager and other senior technical staff.

    Execute plumbing system design and drawing preparation under direction of the Project Manager, system narratives and system layouts for a variety of project types and sizes.

    Design various plumbing system types under the guidance of the Project Manager.

    Work with the internal design team as well as external clients and consultants, including owners, builders, developers, program managers, contractors, architects, vendors, etc.

    Manage construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned projects including conducting field inspections and subsequent detailed inspection reports.
    Perform other duties as needed.*LI-BC1QualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with mechanical emphasis.
    Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
    Experience in commercial, healthcare, or institutional facilities.
    Computer experience using MS Office, Trane TRACE or similar software, manufacturer selection software.
    An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
    Preferred QualificationsHealthcare, Science and Technology and/or Civic facilities experience.
    Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not required.
    Certified Plumbing Design (CPD) Certification preferred.
    Professional Engineer (PE) preferred. Candidates hired without PE license will have a title of Plumbing Designer.
    Medical Gas Certification (ASSE 6060 or similar) strongly preferred.
    Preference given to local candidates.
