- Responsible for the quality assurance requirements of all heat-treating services consistent with customer, material, government and company quality specifications
- Oversee contract/quality review of incoming products
- Prepare, oversee and present quarterly management review meetings
- Acts as the ISO Management representative
- Monitor all technical suppliers (testing house, calibration, etc.)
- Oversees nonconformance database and interfaces with customers to resolve issues
- Oversee certification process
- Review customer specifications
- Conduct internal audits
- Record and interpret results of testing and create presentation materials when required
- Responsible to identify quality problems, record and interpret results of testing and resolve problems by examining and evaluating data; select corrective steps.
- Consult with and advise other department managers in production related problems
- Review, prepare and present reports as required
