    Your opportunity

    • Conduct research independently to formulate investment recommendations on individual securities within a dedicated sector of coverage. Careful consideration should be given to forecasted growth, competitive positioning, capital structure design, ESG considerations, quality of financial reporting and management
    • Construct models to generate pertinent questions that need to be answered in the research process, determine critical drivers and forecast future revenue, earnings and cash flows
    • Provide a selection of the best risk adjusted total return global securities across company / issuers capital structure, with a focus on downside protection
    • Undertake research visits/meetings to formulate and extend deep industry expertise, including contact with competitors, customers, suppliers and other relevant constituents
    • Compile and communicate research findings with Portfolio Managers through written notes, reports, and presentations
    • Carry out other duties as assigned

    Must have skills

    • Bachelors degree required
    • Post-graduate degree such as MBA, and CFA and/or CPA helpful
    • 7+ years of buy side credit research analyst experience required
    • Strong security picking skills, with a proven track record of adding value
    • Strong modeling skills required. Demonstrated proficiency building and maintaining independent financial models to forecast future revenue, earnings, and cash flows
    • Experience working with LLM / AI, in an investment construct, a plus
    • Prior coverage of retail and/or media sectors, a plus, but not necessary
    • Commitment to doing whatever it takes to build the business
    • Deep understanding of corporate finance and accounting
    • Deep understanding of fixed income markets
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate articulately, concisely and persuasively
    • Ability to work and make decisions independently, and in a time-sensitive manner, as well as function effectively within a team
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally

    • Advanced MS Word, Excel, Bloomberg and internet skills

    Compensation information

    The base salary range for this position is $190,000 - $215,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This position will be posted until May 14, 2024.
