Position Title: Manager, Talent Management, Human Resources

Reports To: Director, Total Rewards, Human Resources, U.S.

Location: Remote within the United States (ability to work east coast hours preferred)

Type: Full-time, one year contract

ABOUT CATF:

Clean Air Task Force (CATF) is a nonprofit organization working to safeguard against the worst impacts of climate change by catalyzing the rapid global development and deployment of low-carbon energy and other climate-protecting technologies. This is accomplished through research and analysis, public advocacy leadership, and partnership with the private sector. CATF is highly respected for its deep expertise and research on energy and industrial systems and potential strategies, technologies, and policies that can radically shrink their impact on the planet's atmosphere. Our team of experts and advocates (and global network of subject matter experts and civil society partners) put this research and knowledge into action by designing and enacting public policies that drive toward zero emissions. We also support policies and work directly with private industry to innovate in technology to make the path to zero emissions swift and affordable. CATF has offices in Boston, Washington D.C., and Brussels, with staff working virtually around the world.

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, allocate resources, and monitor project progress
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve the employee experience through more efficient tools, templates, and guidance materials

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end onboarding logistics for new hires and offboarding logistics for departing staff
  • Serve as an accessible point of contact for staff questions and general HR support requests
  • · Manage core HR administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams
  • Ensure positive and collaborative relationships with others
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel as needed (approximately 8 – 10 times a year)
