    Brown & Brown has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Benefits Account Manager for our team in El Segundo, CA

    This person will assist the Account Team in servicing the benefit consulting needs of our clients which is primarily focused on Health and Welfare benefits.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Promptly and accurately responds to clients' requests through utilization of technical expertise in the benefits field.
    • Administers marketing and renewal functions including preparation of requests for proposals.
    • Reviews contracts, summary plan descriptions, agreements, etc., for accuracy.
    • Prepares and submits client utilization and financial reporting to the consultant and client.
    • Assists Consultant in identifying, planning and developing methods and procedures to obtain greater efficiency and effectiveness for the benefit programs.
    • Keeps abreast of changing market conditions and innovations in the industry.
    • Special projects as assigned which includes involvement in presentations, client functions and meetings.
    WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
    • 3-5 years of employee health and welfare benefits experience. Brokerage or carrier experience preferred.
    • Preferably licensed in Life/Accident and Health Insurance.
    • Exceptional knowledge of all lines of benefits.
    • Good oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to independently make accurate decisions and demonstrate good judgment.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Able to work in a collaborative, team-oriented manner, fostering empowerment and ownership for service quality.
    • Excellent keyboard and PC skills using word processing and spreadsheet software, familiarity with various software applications and the ability to learn new software systems.
