    Established in 1998, MRG specializes in providing Independent Medical Exams for Worker's Compensation, Disability, and the Veterans Administration.

    Job Overview

    Description

    We seek a Licensed Psychologist to conduct medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

    As part of Disability Assessments, you will electronically review behavioral health records via a secure Web Portal and conduct comprehensive in-person assessments for each Veteran.

    You will also fill out Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.

    The Licensed Psychologist DOES NOT determine disabilities. The U.S. Veterans Administration is responsible for all disability determinations, utilizing the information recorded in the DBQs.

    This role focuses solely on Disability Assessments for Veterans. There will be no treatment or medication prescribing involved.

    The Licensed Psychologist will assess an average of 3 (sometimes 4) Veterans per day.

    The Licensed Psychologist will be engaged as an Independent Contractor.

    Schedule 5 days/week (8 am-5 pm) - Part-time availability will also be considered

    This position requires IN-PERSON presence.

    Requirements

    • MRG Exams is seeking a Licensed Psychologist who:
      • Has a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA Accredited program or school.
      • Has an active & unrestricted Psychology license.
