We are seeking a Party Chief to join our growing company, working on various projects across San Diego County.

Description

San Dieguito Engineering, Inc. (SDE) is an award-winning civil engineering firm located in Solana Beach, CA, providing services such as Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, Land Planning, and Subsurface Utility Mapping (SUE).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct boundary and topographic surveys, utility surveys, and construction staking for private development and pipeline projects.
• Prepare field notes, sketches, plats, staking cut sheets, project documents, and reports.
• Perform surveys for heavy civil engineering construction, coordinate with the Survey Manager, and manage chainman and multiple projects.
• Pursue required certifications and training as needed for projects.
• Collaborate as a team player, communicating effectively and proactively leading the team.

Requirements

• California LSIT or PLS license preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of field experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and organized, with a willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and strong organization skills.
• Able to work with all departments: Civil Engineering, Land Planning, and Land Surveying.
