    XperiencOps, Inc., is seeking a versatile Technical Content Engineer to join our team at our Bay Area, CA, office. This unique role requires a blend of skills in content writing, front-end development (specifically in React), and a passion for creating engaging, informative customer experiences. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our customer portal built on Docusaurus, crafting user-centric documentation, and automating customer onboarding workflows. This position is 100% onsite and offers the opportunity to significantly impact our customer engagement strategy.

    Requirements

    What you'll do:

    • Craft user manuals, how-to guides, and other technical documents that are clear, concise, and engaging.
    • Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to understand technical concepts and functionalities. (In-depth implementation knowledge is not required, but a strong grasp of technical principles is essential.)
    • Contribute to our documentation repositories, utilizing a docs-as-code approach.
    • Expand upon existing content, injecting your unique voice and expertise, and rounding out our current knowledge bases.
    • Embrace challenges—you'll encounter problems you haven't faced before, but we'll provide the resources and support to help you learn and conquer them.

    Who You Are:

    • 5–7 years of professional experience as a support engineer, technical writer, or similar role
    • A master communicator with a knack for simplifying complex information.
    • Highly technical with strong ability to pick up on and understand technical concepts.
    • A passionate advocate for beautiful documentation and user enablement.
    • Thrives on tackling new challenges and embraces a continuous learning mindset.

    Bonus Points:

    • Knowledge and working experience with Docusaurus or other documentation frameworks.
    • Actively involved in the open-source community.
    • Familiarity with our industry or related fields (we'll provide training, but relevant experience is a plus).
