- Manages the nursing program during off shifts by allocating nursing personnel, coordinating activities, and supervising staff. Acts as a clinical resource.
- Demonstrates expertise in providing care based on various criteria relevant to the resident's needs in the assigned unit. Interacts professionally with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

RN Nursing Supervisor
NIGHTS - 10:45 pm-7:15 am (Shift Differential)
32 hrs/week

This role involves overseeing a 260-bed building.
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Nursing and the Director of Nursing, the Nursing Supervisor is responsible for upholding established standards of practices and care, providing guidance in the continuous delivery of nursing services. Collaborates with Clinical Nurse Managers to ensure quality, safety, and appropriateness of care.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
Education: Graduate of a nursing school, BS in nursing or related healthcare field.
Experience: 1-2 years in a supervisory role preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Active RN license in Connecticut, current CPR certification.
Key Competencies: Prioritization of resident needs, management skills, conflict resolution, interpersonal skills, effective communication, computer proficiency.
