Description

An AMLaw200 ranked firm are seeking to hire a Mid-level Associate to join the Corporate & Securities Practise Group in their Chicago office.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience performing general corporate/M&A work at a large or mid-size law firm.

Examples of specific types of desired experience include:
Representing buyers and sellers in M&A transactions and recapitalizations
Representing investors purchasing preferred equity and convertible notes in private company capital raises
Entity formations, including drafting limited liability company agreements and joint ventures agreements
Experience with corporate governance and general corporate matters

Strong communication and client relations skills and the ability to simultaneously handle multiple transactions are essential.

Candidates are required to have strong interpersonal, analytical and writing skills, superior academic credentials as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Candidates must be members in good standing or eligible to waive into the Bar in the jurisdiction for Illinois
