    Minimum
    Qualifications

    • Some experience in trading, reporting or a relevant role
    • Basic knowledge of mortgage process/secondary market trading
    • Bachelor's degree in finance, math, computer science, or a related field or equivalent experience

    Preferred
    Qualifications

    • 2 years of experience in trading, reporting or a relevant role
    • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
    • Knowledge of Excel modeling

    Job Summary

    As a Hedge Analyst I, you will analyze business and market trends in order to optimize our execution in mortgage trading activities and manage market risk.


    Responsibilities

    • Independently manages analytical reporting responsibilities, ensuring information is accurate and disbursed timely to Capital Market's teams and stakeholders
    • Develops understanding of where loan, trade and market level data are stored within our reporting systems and can quickly retrieve data to answer questions and perform ad hoc analysis
    • Identifies and communicates trends the loan, trade, and market data, investigating for driving factors and recommending course of action to team
    • Distills data down into actionable information that is clearly formatted and highlights important KPIs
    • Constructs new reports that enables improved the hedge effectiveness, model performance, trade execution and market insight
    • Assist with the settlement, margining, and confirmation of trades where necessary
