ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems.

We are seeking highly motivated Software Engineers to support the development and sustainment of the U.S. Missile Defense Agency Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) anti-ballistic missile system project in Huntsville, AL. This position requires on-site work to be performed in Huntsville, AL. There are no remote work options.

As a Developer for the GMD Weapon System (GWS) Architecture and Delivery (A&D) SPA TEX team you will be an individual contributor in an Agile environment supporting the development of the C++ version of the legacy TEX product, originally developed in Ada.

Active Secret Clearance and U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor's Degree in STEM related field, 2-4 years of related experience or a Master's degree with of 2 years of related experience
Recent experience of C++ and Python
Experience in developing code in a Dev Ops environment using Bitbucket or GitHub –
Experience in an Agile environment.
Experience in both Windows and Unix OS environments.
Demonstrated Communication skills.
Must be able to support an in-person / closed-area work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Computer Science Degree.
Experience with OASIS model.
Experience with PERL and XML.
Experience working with requirements collaboration and development.
Exposure to Stimulation and Simulation Software
