POSITION PURPOSE
The Director of Sales oversees the activities of the Phoenix sales team engaged in generating, developing, and servicing clients as well as selling all pavement maintenance and services offered by Sunland Asphalt.
Employee shall perform all duties and responsibilities with Sunland's Core Values at the forefront.
Develops and increases Division sales to meet assigned goals.
Assists Project Consultants with organizational skills, account strategies, territory planning, administrative responsibilities, and developing technical expertise in selling Sunland Asphalt products and services in order to be able to assess all of the customer's needs.
Is actively engaged in Project Consultants' orientation and sales training programs.Acts as a resource to Project Consultants.
Assists Project Consultants with contract negotiations, closing the sale, and developing marketing plans for accounts.
Assists with the assignment and planning of trade shows and industry functions.
Builds network, attends trade association meeting and industry functions.
Coordinates and assists in leading sales meetings.
Stays informed of new products, services, and competitive activity.
Assists in answering customer questions, resolving complaints, and developing solutions.
Prepares reports, makes recommendations to management.
Approves project invoices promptly and collects receivables when needed.
Ensures that quality control is maintained on the job.
Makes sure that job close out is timely and efficient.
Any and all duties as assigned.

Safety
This position is considered a safety-sensitive position and is subject to the company's drug and alcohol policy, as well as all OHSA regulations.
All employees must wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety guidelines at all times as an essential part of their job responsibilities.
Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentThis position will work in an office setting and in the field meeting with customers. The employee routinely uses standard office equipment such as phones, computers, photocopiers, and fax machines.
While performing this job the employee is regularly required to talk and hear in person and over the telephone and have vision to read printed materials and a computer screen.
The employee must have mobility to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, and the strength to lift and carry files and office documents up to 10 pounds.
The employee must possess the stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions.The Literacy Coalition is currently seeking a full-time program manager responsible for developing and teaching literacy-based social-emotional learning lessons with children in kindergarten through fifth grade in afterschool programs and summer camps.
Work schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend hours.The ideal candidate will be an experienced educator who is passionate about fostering literacy skills and promoting positive youth development through social-emotional learning.
Job RequirementsBachelor's Degree
Teaching experience preferred
Ability to work with children of multi-cultural backgrounds and with diverse learning needs
Excellent research, training, communication and organizational skills
Must have a reliable vehicle, and requires maintaining a valid Florida State driver's license with a satisfactory driving record and eligibility for coverage under any applicable agency insurance.
Ability and willingness to participate in ongoing professional development activities in order to keep current on new developments in the field and to enhance skills already maintained
