to provide systems engineering and integration of Naval software systems.

Pay Range:
$65,000 - $110,000 (Years of experience/certifications taken into account)

Qualifications:
3+ years of hands on

A minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD)
Secret level Security Clearance
DoD 8570 Certifications
(IAT) Level II
(CompTIA Security+ or equivalent)
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux system development, integration, and testing
Experience securing Red Hat products in accordance with DoD standards
Experience with programming/scripting languages
Experience with Git, familiarity with Bitbucket, Confluence and Jira
Demonstrated ability to effectively install, configure, and administer in a multi-system and/or multi-application environment
Working knowledge and experience of System Engineering processes and procedures
Knowledge of Linux/Windows OS and networking from a system design perspective
Ability to create and test virtualized environments (VMWare, Hyper-V, AWS) for development and testing procedures that are traceable to system requirements
Strong documentation and oral communication skills to clearly communicate with all levels of users, engineers, managers, and organizations
Ability to work with others in a highly collaborative environment
Self-Motivated, strong work ethic and commitment to quality
Ability to multi-task and balance multiple goals and priorities
Job Description:
Provide knowledge in systems engineering and information technology
Develop solutions to solve problems and implement enhancements
Investigate and resolve issues that span multiple applications/technologies and require involvement from technical personnel across multiple groups
Develop and/or revise system designs and architectures to improve efficiency, stability, effectiveness, supportability, and sustainability
Provide feedback on internal processes and recommendations for improvement
Provide technical analysis integral to the maintenance and sustainment of DoD systems
Provide in-depth research and analysis of issues and new technologies
Prepare technical briefs to present to engineering review teams
Integrate COTS and GOTS software into CANES baselines
Provide technical knowledge to support and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Manage, integrate, update, and recompile RPM software for operating system baselines
Install test branches on physical hardware on lab equipment as first level integration tests
Verify install documentation is executable
Provide technical knowledge to design systems that administer and secure CANES baselines
We'd be Impressed if
You Had:
A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering
RedHat certification (i.e. RHCSA, RHCE, etc.)
Experience with Ansible automation design and development
Experience with Redhat Satellite development, integration, and test
Experience with Redhat OpenShift
Experience with Bahamut IRC
Experience with Linux administration and BASH scripting
Experience with container technologies (Docker/Podman)
Experience with programming/scripting languages (PowerShell\Bash\Python\HTML\JAVA)
Experience with VMWare virtual infrastructure
Knowledgeable in best cybersecurity practices (STIGs) and using industry standard tools (ACAS, Nessus) to perform vulnerability analysis and mitigations
Knowledgeable with integrated development environment (IDE, Visual Studio Code) for GIT management and code revision
