Boyden have been retained to assist in the appointment of a Human Resources Director for the North American division of a global company in the building materials and solutions sector.

Reporting to the US Country Head, the HRD will be responsible for the implementation of Human Resources and Organisation Development strategy and people practices aligned with business needs to support the division's purpose and ambition.

The key people challenges in the business include acquisition integration, capability development and the need for strong talent across the business as well as the building of a HR team to support a Global business in a high growth oriented entrepreneurial culture.

We are searching for candidates with:

• A Bachelors / Masters Degree with appropriate qualifications in Business or HR or equivalent
• Significant Organisation Development and Talent Acquisition/Management experience gained within a high growth and international business environment
• Commercial understanding, business acumen and the ability to build trusted collaborative relationships within a Leadership team
• A track record in the development and Execution of Human Resources strategies within a fast-paced, agile environment
• Significant HR leadership experience gained in a reputed business environment at Executive Leadership Team level
• Strong communication skills demonstrating high empathy, excellent interpersonal, problem solving, influencing and stakeholder management skills
• Experience of Manufacturing/ Engineering environment
