Job Title: Experienced Project Manager (ISP/Commercial Environment/Data Center)

Location: Boydton, Virginia

Duration: Direct Hire

Salary: Competitive Salary + Relocation Package to Virginia

OVERVIEW

The Project Manager (PM) will play a key role in our operations team focused on overseeing various network infrastructure and cabling projects at a specific site. This position demands a blend of development, management, customer engagement, operational, and leadership skills.

The Project Manager holds the key role in ensuring the successful completion of a project. Responsibilities include planning, directing, coordinating, and budgeting activities related to project construction. The PM also contributes to conceptual development, organization, estimation, scheduling, and implementation of construction projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure effective project management and timely delivery by collaborating with the site team to create and achieve program schedules and milestones, meeting financial and schedule targets aligned with customer objectives. Coordinate acquisition of necessary resources and adjust plans as needed.
Evaluate proposed materials and products for constructability and feasibility during the pre-construction phase. Manage cost estimates, design efforts, and value engineering processes.
Develop logical project schedules, budget time effectively, and collaborate with stakeholders to address work procedures and construction challenges.
Organize and oversee construction and maintenance activities for structures, facilities, and systems.
Manage program aspects including Safety & Environment protocols, quality assurance, and material logistics.
Lead recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management of project-related staff. Handle human resource issues according to Company policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in computer science, business management, electrical engineering, construction management, or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, data centers, or structured cabling.
Demonstrated track record of delivering critical programs within budget, timeline, and quality standards.
Preferred certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
Preferred certifications: BICSI RCDD or similar in Telecommunications field.
