    Senior Director, Marketing Science

    As the Senior Director at Hearts & Science you will serve as a senior Marketing Science lead for a key Heart & Science theatrical entertainment client, overseeing all day-to-day data and analytics deliverables as well as serve as the key point of contact for clients on all things concerning marketing science, reporting and optimization.

    You will ensure key business constituents understand drivers of performance, help them finds growth levers, and identify opportunities for optimization.

    As Senior Director you will lead the business through all efforts that drive business performance and potential by using existent and new data sources, techniques and automation solutions.

    You'll get your hands dirty solving hard analytical problems and delivering strategic insights for the business, reporting to the Executive Director, Marketing Science with accountability to overall account leadership.

    Qualifications

    10+ years of experience at a media agency, marketing analytics firm or in a quantitative, data-driven field with a focus on media measurement use cases
    Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for a wide audience
    Excellent strategic thinker who is willing to take risks and challenge the status quo
    Strong leader who can demonstrate analytic skills, problem solving, and independent decision making
    Entertainment and Theatrical experience are a plus, but not required
    Experience with Upper- and Mid-Funnel media decision frameworks and KPI's. Performance media experience desirable

    Familiarity with marketing technology (e.g., Data Management Platforms, API-driven conversion measurement), ad-serving (e.g., Google DCM), and web analytics tools (e.g.

    , Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
    Familiarity with media publisher measurement capabilities (e.g. DV360, Meta, Snapchat, YouTube)
    Experience applying marketing mix modeling/econometric analysis and/or other branches of market research to media applications

    Responsibilities

    Leadership/Supervisory/Support Role
    Management and prioritization of the business's overall analytical needs and opportunities
    Defines the business questions that need be answered, identifies appropriate analytical solutions in addition to identifying and readying relevant data sources for analysis
    Manage and develop staff in learning best practices, and improving speed and accuracy of reports as well as ad hoc analytics deliverables
    Lead client analytics discussions involving reporting, optimization, and recommendations for improving performance
    Partner with client internal analytical teams to work towards common business outcomes, providing and asking for support proactively when necessary
    Strategy
    Attend senior level client meetings and actively participate in the preparation and presentation
    Actively engaged with the clients and play a leading role in strategy development regarding the collection, manipulation, and analysis of data across various LOB's and departments such as investment, strategy, and digital audience planning
    Create new data-driven approaches for the purpose of generating business insights through data analytics, information visualization, and addressing unanswered business issues in a proactive manner
    Analytics
    Play a key role in development and application of analytical algorithms, solutions, and methods where possible with a view of driving and enhancing data systems and streamlining business processes
    Strives to improve the quality of analytics solutions on a consistent basis and ensuring delivery of high-quality deliverables for all functions of the business and in the definition of metrics that track the business's performance at different fronts
    Collaboration
    You are highly collaborative and, as such, you will facilitate joint brainstorming and team collaboration across different internal teams (such as strategy, investment and creative) and externally with clients
    Work closely with central agency analytics team in establishing departmental goals and strategies, as well as collaborates with numerous departments across the business, aiding them in the proper use of data and analytics outputs
    Automation/Reporting
    Ensure the most appropriate automation solutions, internal and external, are evaluated, implemented, and streamlined where necessary, to ensure business efficiency and enable cross-departmental engagement
    Partner with offshore reporting and database group to develop solutions which increase automation and efficiency for onshore marketing science team members

    Compensation Range:
    $150,000 - $200,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
