    Job SummaryAs the Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for the scheduling, bid review & implementation for the electrical estimating processes.

    Essential DutiesIdentifies labor, material, and time requirements from electrical drawings, on site walk downs, construction plans and related documentation.
    Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
    Presents prepared estimate by combining numerical data and descriptive information in a clear, concise proposal.
    Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction personnel to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
    Maintains company's proprietary cost database by entering and backing-up data.
    Maintains technical knowledge by attending project walk-throughs and interfacing with client.
    Review material and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost effective to produce or purchase components. Reviews scope of work with client prior to contract execution.
    Continual process improvement as it relates to Estimating.
    This position may require some local travel with overnight stays. Other duties as assigned. Skills & QualificationsIn lieu of Bachelor's degree, High School Diploma or GED with 7+ years of experience is required. Prefer Bachelor's degree in Business, Electrical or Engineering with 4 years' experienceFormer supervisory experience is required.
    Strong understanding of the National electrical Code and NECA installation standards.
    Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite. Possess a strong attention to detail.
    Must be well versed in reading and interpreting various electrical drawing/schematics, P&ID's and construction plans.
    Organized with a high attention to detail.

    Previous experience with electrical installations in industrial environments i.e., Power Generation facilities, Manufacturing facilities, Sand & Aggregate, Phosphate & mining is preferred.
