    EDGE Program, Technical Sales and Consulting: Technology Consultant

    Rockwell Automation's Technical Sales & Consulting Program is a world-class, multi-month training program consisting of a combination of sales, technical and professional training that take place in both classroom and on-the-job settings. Join a cohort of peers from all over the world and embark on a journey to become a trusted outcome-based seller. After completion of the training program, Associates are placed in one of our field sales offices across North America.

    Technology Consultant:

    Our North America Sales team prioritizes our customers' needs and our employees' success. The position of Technology Consultant is crucial to our organization. As a member of our Domain Expert team, you will build relationships with the world's producers and work in partnership with customers, OEMs, systems integrators, and industry partners to solve unique challenges in industry. The Technology Consultant is a technical resource for Rockwell Automation technology and products within their area(s) of expertise. You will respond to prospect emails, phone calls, and demo requests capability and benefits of our portfolio to customers. They are responsible for technical support in pre-sales activities for a specific range of products within a defined geography. The Technology Consultant will assist in commercial marketing activities, interface with product teams, be the contact for product and quality issues, provide post sales troubleshooting when needed, and act as a local interface with Tech Support.

    Skills you have

    • Ability to distill information from disparate data sources and the capability to tell the 'story' behind it, and recommendations for next steps.

    Basic qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
    • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
    • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
    • Must be location flexible
    • Valid US driver's license

    Preferred qualifications

    • Previous intern experience with Rockwell Automation, our Partner Network, or our customers
    • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Software or Chemical Engineering or Computer Science.
    • Previous co-op or intern experience in manufacturing, product marketing, or customer-facing role

    For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $72,000 - $74,000/annual. Our benefits for the US can be found . Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
