    Job Title: Family Law Project Staff Attorney at Legal Services of South Central Michigan

    • Position: Legal Services of South Central Michigan (LSSCM) is looking for a staff attorney to join its Family Law Project office in Washtenaw County as part of the Crime Victims Legal Assistance Project (CVLAP).
    • Description of Program: LSSCM, a division of the Michigan Advocacy Program (MAP), aims to advance safety, independence, and economic stability by increasing access to justice and working for systemic solutions.
    • Qualifications: Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Michigan or eligible for admission. Legal aid or litigation experience is beneficial.
    • Salary: Starting salary of $62,424 depending on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package including life, disability, health, vision, dental, and flexible spending accounts.
    • Benefits: Generous benefits package, 3 weeks' paid vacation in the first year, 15 paid holidays, 401K retirement plan, and eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
