    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

    A fantastic school district located in Burnsville, NCis actively seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join theteam. The successful candidate willassist the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in providing speech and language therapy services to students with munication disorders.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist the SLP in conducting assessments and evaluations of students with munication disorders
    • Implement therapy programs as designed by the SLP
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to provide coordinated services to students with munication disorders
    • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy programs as needed
    • Document student progress and municate with parents/guardians as needed

    Requirements:

    • Associate's degree in Speech Language Pathology Assistant program or related field
    • Valid State Speech Language Pathology Assistant certification
    • Experience working with students with munication disorders
    • Strong organizational and munication skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively with other educators and support staff
