    Acclaim Technical Services, a leading provider of language, operations, and technology services to U.S. Federal agencies, is hiring an experienced Senior Linux Systems Engineer with TS/SCI clearance for our Mission Technology Division in Warrenton, VA.

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a highly skilled professional with at least 6+ years' experience in Linux administration and engineering infrastructure support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in utilizing Red Hat and its derivatives (centOS, RHEL, RockyOS) and experience in shell scripting and manipulating the Linux command line.

    • Provide technical guidance in software engineering techniques and automated support tools.
    • Analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities.
    • Prepare required documentation (program-level and user-level).
    • Assist in establishing standards for information systems procedures.
    • Perform technical evaluations and analysis.

    Additional responsibilities include O&M duties such as providing operational pager/phone duty support, completing day-to-day Operations & Maintenance tasks, performing operating system software updates, upgrades and patches.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Experience with the following languages: Python, Ruby, Bash, PHP.
    • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), CloudFormation, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.
    • Experience with configuration management software (e.g., Ansible, Puppet Manifests and Foreman).
    • Experience with cloud computing, including PaaS, IaaS and SaaS.
    • Experience with CaaS (e.g., Kubernetes and OpenShift).

    Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
