    MCHS is currently accepting applications for BHT (Behavioral Health Technicians).

    As a BHT, you will work with children/adolescents, one-on-one, and also provide support for the family/caregivers/schools primarily in the Philadelphia School District area.


    Position Summary:
    Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) provides specialized behavioral services directed by a detailed treatment plan and under the direction of a BC, who is responsible for the treatment plan

    Summary of Essential Position Functions:
    Provide one-on-one behavioral interventions to clientAssist parent/caregiver and/or teacher with implementation of behavior planMonitor client's behaviors emphasized in the treatment plan; intervene and redirect challenging behaviorsCollaborate with team members and must work in context of transferring skills to othersAttend monthly treatment team meetings with client, family and treatment teamProvide services within authorized amount of hours & Complete all paperwork within policy time framesAttend staff meetings & mandatory trainings as necessary and comply with all IBHS policiesAttend trainings (must have twenty (20) hours per year if an experienced BHT; non experienced need thirty-nine (39) hours of training within the first six (6) months of hire)


    BHT with less than six months of previous BHT experience must receive six hours of on-site assessment & assistance by a qualified supervisor.

    BHT with more than six months of previous BHT experience must receive three hours of assessment/assistance by a qualified supervisor.

    Ability to develop therapeutic rapport with treatment team, clients and familiesAttend weekly supervision with master's level mental health professionalTravel to and from client sites to perform services (100% travel required)Perform other duties as assignedQualificationsQualifications:

    High School Diploma or the equivalent to a High School Diploma, Andhave completed a 40 hour Training covering RBT, which can be acquired at no cost, OrA minimum of two years experience in the provision of Behavioral Health Services.
