Qualifications

Associates or Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience

At least 5-9 years' experience working in an industrial

manufacturing/chemical

process environment

Experience with variable frequency drives, PLC programming, and HMI programming

Experience with SiemensPLC's

Experience with process instrumentation in an industrial process environment

Responsibilities

You will provide technical expertise for designing, maintaining, and modifying the complex control systems used for process control and safety shutdown by our chemical and specialty material processes

Provide technical support, and training to the site regarding safety and process control systems, process instrumentation, DCS, PLC, and power distribution

Plan, design, estimate, manage and startup instrumentation and automation projects, including capital projects

Assume responsibility for the instrumentation and process automation portions of broad, multifunctional projects

Implement continuous improvement opportunities to improve control and electrical systems within the facility

Support production and maintenance departments in continuous improvement, yield improvement, and efficiency improvements

Experience in Siemens preferred.

Equipment installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting

PPM development and optimization

Lead RCA and FMECA
