    Veterinary Assistant – Surgery TrainedLocation:

    Full-timeWe are seeking a surgery-trained Veterinary Assistant to join our fast-paced, team-oriented animal hospital. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, adaptable, and passionate about patient care.

    We are a collaborative team that values teaching, learning, and coaching, and we're looking for someone who thrives in that kind of environment.

    This role requires flexibility, including weekend availability and comfort with long or extended shifts when needed.
    RequirementsPrior experience as a Veterinary AssistantSurgery-trained (including anesthesia monitoring and dental procedures)

    Ability to work weekendsComfortable with long hours and a busy hospital environmentOpen to learning, coaching, and constructive feedbackStrong work ethic and positive attitudeReliable, punctual, and professionalJob Responsibilities & SkillsA qualified Veterinary Assistant is expected to be proficient in the following:
    Patient Care & Technical SkillsSafely restrain animals for examinations and proceduresObtain blood samples (venipuncture)

    Accurately take and record heart rate, respiratory rate, and temperatureAssist with surgical procedures, including:
