    Requirements:

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThis Medical Assistant role is primarily to serve as a technician to administer procedures in the office. Training will be provided by the clinical team. Included in this role will be:

    • Administration and observation of the patient during treatment
    • Documentation of the treatment
    • Tracking of referrals, and those patients that are in the queue for future procedures
    • Prior authorization and support of the clinical team for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, TMS as well as Spravato and other procedures
    • Interdisciplinary team communication on the patient experience, as well as the insurance coverage and benefits
    • Working collaboratively with the administrative and billing team to ensure all requirements of the procedures are fully met

    Administrative duties include:

    • Conducts business in a service-oriented manner that is attentive, cooperative, sensitive, respectful and kind with all patients, visitors, the public and all colleagues
    • Clerical duties such as answering telephones, check-in, checkout and record processing as requested, appointment scheduling and patient intake, data verification, office communications
    • Attends staff meetings as required
    • Understanding of insurance benefits, take patient payments, verify benefits, and support the billing team in gathering the information needed
    • Maintains certifications per state guidelines
    • Performs duties to achieve or exceed established service standards

    QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Education/Experience

    • MA licensure
    • Strong communication skills

    Preferred Education/Experience

    • Knowledge of TMS and/or Spravato would be an asset
    • Clinic or office experience preferred
    • EMR knowledge
    • Excel and/or strong computer skills
