    Description


    SUMMARY:
    Drive and maintain a manual transmission truck safely while picking up, delivering, and loading material.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Package parts safely
    • Load flatbed safely
    • May assist in unloading flatbed
    • Drive safely in compliance with all state and federal laws
    • Perform daily maintenance checks on truck before operating
    • Complete daily log on inspection, travel, etc.
    • Understands and follows all safety regulation
    Qualifications

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.


    • Requires a minimum of 2 years of previous truck driving with no speeding, accidents or safety violations from previous employment and on personal vehicle; 3 years preferred
    • Must have an acceptable driving record according to DOT regulations
    • Must have a class B or A CDL license
    • Must be able to read, write and understand safety rules and regulations.
    • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs and maneuver 200lbs without assistance.
    • Ability to take oral direction
    • Ability to work in a team environment successfully
    • Ability to read and speak English
    • Valid driver's license and good driving record

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
    High school diploma or GED required; previous direct experience desired, one to three years related experience preferred.


    TRAVEL:
    Ability to travel out of state for training as needed Ability to deliver out of city or state as needed
