    General SummaryAs an integral part of our organization, you will play a key role in coordinating marketing efforts, managing donor relations, supporting fundraising initiatives, and contributing to the success of our park events and programs.


    What youll doMarketing and Social Media Coordination:

    Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote Allegheny RiverTrail Park across various platforms, including social media, email newsletters, and printed materials.

    Create engaging content, graphics, and videos using Canva software to enhance the park's online presence and engagement with the community.

    Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, and interact with followers to foster positive relationships.
    Update the park's website with current information, event listings, and engaging content to attract visitors and promote park activities.

    Coordinate the design and production of marketing materials, such as brochures, posters, and signage, to support park events and initiatives.


    Donor Relations and Fundraising Support:
    Utilize Bloomerang software to manage donor records, track contributions, and generate acknowledgment letters and tax receipts.
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor information, including contact details, giving history, and communication preferences.
    Assist with donor prospecting, research, and cultivation to support fundraising efforts.

    Support management and the board of directors with planning and executing fundraising campaigns, including the annual fundraising appeal and other initiatives throughout the year.

    Assist with writing grant proposals, sponsorship packages, and donor communications to solicit support from businesses, foundations, and individuals.
    Cultivate relationships with donors and sponsors to strengthen support for Allegheny RiverTrail Park.


    Event Coordination:


    Assist the Director of Park Operations with planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events at Allegheny RiverTrail Park, including park-sponsored events, partner events, and small event rentals.

    Coordinate event logistics, including venue reservations, permits, vendor contracts, catering services, and equipment rentals.
    Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure compliance with park regulations and safety protocols.


    Volunteer Coordination and Management:
    Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to assist with park activities, events, and conservation projects.
    Maintain a volunteer database, schedule volunteer shifts, and provide ongoing support and recognition for volunteers.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, nonprofit management, or a related field.
    Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, social media management, donor relations, event coordination, or related fields.
    Proficiency in donor database management software (e.g., Bloomerang), Canva, and other graphic design tools.
    Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required during peak seasons and special events.
    Passion for outdoor recreation, environmental conservation, and community engagement.
    CPR and First Aid certification may be required.
