    Class A CDL Delivery Driver

    As a Class A CDL Delivery Driver for US Foods, you will be responsible for safely delivering products to customers while meeting scheduled delivery times.

    • Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times.
    • Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas.
    • Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures.
    • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
    • Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience.
    • Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection.

    Main Ingredients of the Job:

    Safely driving trucks to customers and meeting scheduled customer delivery times is essential. You will also be responsible for unloading products, verifying delivery accuracy, and handling collections and payments from customers.

    Physical Requirements:

    You must be able to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift, and comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift).

    What You Bring to the Table:

    You must register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse, be at least 21 years of age, have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications, and minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required.
