Majestic Care of Flushing is looking for a Social Service Director to join our team's mission and believe in our core values Our mission Through the hearts of our Care Team Members we provide excellent healthcare to those we serve This is how we create a culture to LEAD with Love Position Overview The Social Service Director direct and manages the day-to-day operations of the Social Service department in accordance with current federal and state regulations in addition to the community policy Key Responsibilities Supervise the social services department in the day-to-day operations ensuring to set job assignments and set priorities Develop goals and objectives for the department motivate and manage care team members to accomplish the same Ensure new care team members are effectively oriented ensure an ongoing educational program is in place Develop positive relationships on behalf of the community with regulatory agencies residents families including participating during family orientation and family council Assist in preparing budget for the department administer approved budget Implement policies/procedures with follow-up supervision of care team members to ensure compliance Provide direct psychosocial intervention Perform resident assessments at admission upon condition change annually Create review update care plan progress notes Provide direct psychosocial intervention Coordinate resident visits outside services dental optical etc Attend document resident council meetings Assist resident families coping skilled nursing placement physical illness disabilities grieving process Work with resident family other care team members plan discharge Conduct programs educate staff regarding psychosocial issues patient rights Majestic Difference Benefits Quarterly Pay Increase Daily Pay Company-Paid Life Insurance Telehealth Services 7 Company Paid Holidays Care Team Member Relief Fund Join Majestic Care where compassion meets excellence
