    Phlebotomy Specialist Job Description

    COC Consulting is hiring a part-time or PRN phlebotomist in Mount Baker, WA. The Phlebotomy Specialist collects and processes blood and urine samples for laboratory testing.

    • Gathers patient blood and/or urine specimens using established procedures
    • Ensures specimen integrity by properly preparing collected specimens for testing and analysis
    • Verifies urine and blood test requisitions before proceeding
    • Illustrates professionalism by identifying patients before any specimen collection begins Maintains accurate records of all collections performed as required. Provides on-site procedural training to new staff members when necessary.
      Fosters a safe work environment through the adherence to Universal Precautions OSHA guidelines, HIPAA regulations,
      maintaining clean working areas daily & strictly follows standard operating protocols.
