Position Summary
Medical Technologist Supervisors oversee the operation of the ECU Health Medical Center department of Pathology during times when lab managers are not on site.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology, or a biological, chemical, or physical science from an accredited institution
Bachelor's degree with a combination of 30 semester hours (45 quarter hours) in biology and chemistry, obtained within or in addition to the degree is also acceptable
4 years of experience in a clinical laboratory as a Medical Laboratory Scientist
Certification as MLS, BB, C, H or MB by ASCP or other nationally recognized certifying agency
Other Information
40 hours a week
Nights (7 on / 7 off)
Required to work rotational weekends
