    Sales Support Engineer Job Summary

    As a Sales Support Engineer, your goal will be to maintain and grow an existing customer base with regular sales calls, time and territory management, and customer-relationship development, develop new account and meet sales goals and work with outside and inside sales teams to be the go-to engineer for product, application, compatibility, and customization questions and out-of-the-box solutions for company and third-party products.

    Sales Support Engineer Position Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of (education and experience)
    • Motivation for sales and at least 2-5 years of successful applications engineering / sales support experience in an industrial environment, preferably in pumps, instrumentation, valves, and flow control products
    • Ability to troubleshoot, understand customer needs
    • Customer Service focus
    • Excellent interpersonal skills (in person and on the phone), relationship builder
    • Background in automation & control
    • Proficient with computers and working knowledge of Windows operating systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), CRM systems, ERP systems, valve and pump sizing programs
    • Heat trace experience
    • Proven performance in sales, self-motivated, proficient delegator, team builder, highly energetic and have a positive outlook

    Pay Range from $75,000 - $95,000 per year
