- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of (education and experience)
- Motivation for sales and at least 2-5 years of successful applications engineering / sales support experience in an industrial environment, preferably in pumps, instrumentation, valves, and flow control products
- Ability to troubleshoot, understand customer needs
- Customer Service focus
- Excellent interpersonal skills (in person and on the phone), relationship builder
- Background in automation & control
- Proficient with computers and working knowledge of Windows operating systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), CRM systems, ERP systems, valve and pump sizing programs
- Heat trace experience
- Proven performance in sales, self-motivated, proficient delegator, team builder, highly energetic and have a positive outlook
