    Job Description:

    Fidelity Investments Life Insurance (FILI) is in search of an Associate Actuary to contribute to our annuity product development and pricing efforts. Be part of a diverse team dedicated to creating, advocating, and backing Fidelity's exceptional future state experience.

    The Role

    • Price and design annuity products
    • Conduct cost/benefit analysis, sensitivity analysis, and industry comparisons
    • Handle actuarial aspects of annuity filings, including actuarial memorandums and state responses
    • Perform asset/liability analysis and establish credited rates for fixed products
    • Create and assess models for clients' financial planning with annuities
    • Analyze product experience to identify trends and compare against pricing assumptions
    • Evaluate investment options, propose enhancements, and additions
    • Assist in developing new products through system specifications
    • Review product marketing, sales, and training materials
    • Engage in reinsurance discussions and risk management activities
    • Deliver presentations to senior management regularly

    Systems Initiatives

    The Expertise and Skills You Bring

    • BS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, or Physics
    • 10+ years of insurance experience
    • Fellow in the Society of Actuaries
    • Member of the American Academy of Actuaries
    • Broad insurance background with exposure to various areas like distribution, marketing, and finance
    • Strong communication skills to convey complex topics to all organizational levels
    • Ability to foster positive relationships and collaborate across teams
