RESPONSIBLE FOR:


Assists anesthesia providers and other healthcare members in providing care to the patient undergoing anoperative invasive procedure. Prepares anesthesia equipment andsupplies necessary for administration of general, monitoredanesthesia care, or regional anesthesia and supports anesthesiaservices. Maintains inventory levels of OR and anesthesia equipmentand supplies. Job responsibilities include specific anesthesia andequipment related comprehensive care to the child, adolescent,adult and geriatric patients undergoing invasive procedures. Jobresponsibilities may include proximity to medications while inareas with restricted supplies.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATIONREQUIRED:


High School Graduate orequivalent.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:


Two years experience as an AnesthesiaTechnician, Procedure Support Tech II, EMT, orParamedic.

MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:


AHS BLSCertification.

ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:


Certified anesthesia technician(Cer.
A.T.) or equivalent certification preferred.
