Reporting to the Production Manager, the Shift Supervisor directs his/her workforce in a safe and efficient manner consistent with the Company philosophy in order to achieve production levels within budget cost

Check and improve all optimized machine centersCheck, report, and improve mill product distribution and flowMonitor recovery trendsImplement and perform efficiency studies related to the overall processBuild sustainable quality control programsMaintaining records of testingInspection proceduresMaintaining complianceCalibration & tuning of optimizers and scannersConducting product testing and assessmentsHere's What You'll Need2 or 4-year college degree is desiredLumber grading certification Understanding of electronicsUnderstand of scanning, optimization, and processingHave the ability to understand individual optimized machine centersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated computer skillsDemonstrated math and reading comprehension skillsBe willing to acquire additional education/training to stay on top of technology advancementsExperience in a manufacturing environment
