    Job Title: Audit Supervisors

    Employer: AAFCPAS, Inc.

    Job Location: 50 Washington St., Westborough, MA 01581

    Telecommuting is available for this position. Less than 10% domestic travel required per year.

    Job Duties:

    1.Plan and direct work on multiple client engagements simultaneously, coordinating multiple engagements to ensure on-time delivery and avoidance of bottlenecks;

    2.Monitor and review all work products and services to ensure client satisfaction;

    3.Provide supervision for multiple engagements, including planning, budgeting, assessing audit risk, and establishing scope;

    4.Monitor engagement status on a daily basis, including job time budgets and assure work turnaround targets are achieved;

    5.Communicate with clients, partners and managers regarding potential problems;

    6.Demonstrate and maintain high-level technical knowledge in the tax and audit fields, as applicable;

    7.Train and evaluate staff members and provide performance feedback to individual staff members;

    8. Identify potential areas for providing additional, expanded services to clients;

    9. Work with clients, partners, and managers to coordinate and develop overall business and personal tax strategies, as applicable, for each client; and

    10. Assist partners and managers with billing and collection, ensuring services are billed appropriately in accordance with firm policies and procedures.

    Requirements:

    Employer requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or a closely related field and at least five (5) years of progressively more responsible work experience as a public accountant. In addition, the employer requires the following:

    1. Demonstrated ability providing assurance solutions in accordance with Uniform Guidance/Single Audit and Government Auditing Standards, FASB and GASB requirements, as well as those with Massachusetts Uniform Financial Statement (UFR) filing requirements gained through three (3) years of work experience;

    2.Demonstrated ability reviewing Federal Forms 990 and 990-T, unrelated business income tax returns, as well as tax returns for affordable housing limited partnerships, gained through three (3) years of work experience;

    3.Demonstrated understanding of tax credit programs, including Low Income Housing Tax Credits, New Markets Tax Credits, federal and state Historic Tax Credits, and credits for use of alternative energy sources gained through three (3) years of work experience.

    4.Demonstrated ability providing assurance solutions to Massachusetts charter schools including audits and agreed upon procedure reporting required by the state gained through three (3) years of work experience.

    All years of experience may be gained concurrently. Licensure is not required for this position.
