Industrial Painter - South Point, United States - Intermountain Electronics Inc

IE is looking to hire an Industrial Painter for the South Point, Ohio location on the second shift. This role involves training during the day shift initially before transitioning to the second shift. If you have experience in automotive painting, industrial coatings, or spray applications, you could be a great fit for this position.

What You Will Do
As an Industrial Painter, your responsibilities will include ensuring proper preparation and application of coatings using a spray gun, as well as cleanup. The second shift operates 4 ten-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday.

• Proficiency in painting methods, materials, equipment, and safety protocols
• Minimum two years of industrial painting experience, with preference for one year of formal painting education from a trade school or apprenticeship, or equivalent experience
• Ability to assess painting requirements and choose appropriate methods
• Capability to interpret and apply painting blueprints and plan specifications
• Consistent delivery of high-quality painting work
• Capacity to follow both verbal and written instructions
• Strong communication skills in English
• Comfort working at heights up to 20 feet
• Successful completion of a pulmonary functions test
• Effective teamwork skills
• Occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 100 pounds, with specific visual acuity requirements
• Excellent job attendance record
