    Description
    Provides technical assistance in support and preparation of telecom technologies, primarily
    focused on telecommunications infrastructure management, deployment, and maintenance.
    Requires working knowledge of and experience with networking, mobile, desk phones, and
    desktop technologies including, but not limited to, desktop applications, smart phones (iOS),
    VoIP, and PBX telecom systems. Must be able to work independently or as part of a team. In-state, day travel in State-owned vehicles is expected. Occasional long hours are possible, but
    limited. This is a 100% remote position with office visits as needed. Applicants must reside
    within the State of Wisconsin.

    The DOC telecom group manages:
    Cisco infrastructure and endpoints
    Mitel VoIP PBX and ACD
    Telecommunication Company management
    Smart phone support
    Airwatch
    Apple Business Management
    Video conferencing account management

    Minimally qualified applicants must have:
    Working knowledge of Telecommunication concepts such as SIP, H323 and other VoIP
    technologies
    Working knowledge of Networking concepts
    Experience with Cisco phones and infrastructure
    DOC requires background checks to be performed internally.
    This position will have minimal travel but it may be necessary for some projects. No overnight
    travel expected.
