Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years special education experience required.

ProCare Therapy has a contract Special Education Teacher opening for an excellent school district in Arcade, New York. If we find the right candidate to fill the position, there is an opportunity of renewing for the next school year. New grads are encouraged to apply

Job Type:

Create and execute personalized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, working together with parents, therapists, and fellow educators.
Modify teaching materials and techniques to suit various learning styles and capabilities.
Deliver hands-on teaching in fundamental academic areas, life skills, and social-emotional growth tailored to individual student requirements.
Work alongside peers to devise and put into action strategies promoting inclusion and tailored learning within the standard curriculum.
Compensation ranges from $35 to $45 per hour, with further details available during the interview process.

Qualifications:

Valid state certification in Special Education (NY)
Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Special Education
