    USC's Keck School of Medicine, Department of Radiology, is seeking a Academic Program Coordinator to join its team comprised of 80 faculty, 20 fellows, and 42 residents.

    The Academic Program Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the residency training program as well as the ACGME fellowship programs. Coordinates activities related to recruitment of new residents and ACGME fellows, including screening, interviewing, evaluating, and orientation. Uses ERAS software to manage fellowship applicants and compile reports as necessary.

    The Academic Program Specialist will serve as a liaison between the Graduate Medical Educational Department/campus offices/affiliated hospitals and the Department of Radiology. Plans and implements academic program services and activities. Provides administrative and/or operational support to team members and/or managers responsible for program development and performance to ensure overall success. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable of the ACGME requirements and has a background working with an ACGME residency program; self starter who is able to multitask; has the ability to work well with students and faculty.

    The hourly rate range for this position is $28.01 – $31.56 When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.

    Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree. Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education Minimum Experience: 2 years. Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum experience Minimum Field of Expertise: Experience in higher education and/or customer service. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills for interacting with both domestic and international stakeholders. Demonstrated attention to detail. Proven ability to plan, implement, and coordinate program logistics. Demonstrated database/data entry experience. Proven project management and problem solving skills, able to handle multiple timelines, changing priorities, and fluctuating workloads.
