    PCL Construction, Inc. has the following opening in Denver, CO for a Project Engineer.


    Job Description:

    Perform engineering duties in planning and overseeing construction and maintenance of facilities, such as roads, railroads, bridges, pipelines, and water and sewage systems.

    Performs and proactively manages field coordination / site office duties, including updating drawings and measuring site quantities; documenting and interpreting field records for quality, production, labor, and materials; participating in the health, safety, and environment (HSE) plan and completing other tasks as required by the superintendent and/or project manager.

    Responsible for managing trade contractors.

    This includes field operations, managing administrative functions and duties, managing trade partners, interfacing with the engineering design team and field staff to plan, execute and problem solve.

    Job position located at various unanticipated locations throughout the United States. Position will report to HQ in Denver, CO.


    Job Requirements:

    Requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Architecture or closely related field of study and 1 year of experience.


    Must have some experience in the following skills:
    Coordinating Subcontractors and scheduling onsite work; Ability to read and interpret Construction Documents; Coordination of owner training; Maintenance and storage plans, spare parts management, preparation of final turnover documents; Generate look ahead schedules with subcontractors' input for projects; Develop full material list required for construction site activities; and Purchase and coordinate delivery of required materials for construction site activities
