- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Collecting specimen samples when needed
- Taking an active part in patient care planning
- Overseeing Certified Nursing Assistants and training
- Preparing patients for transfers or discharge
- Assisting in medical procedures
- Managing emergency medical situations
- Bachelor's of science degree (or equivalent) in nursing
- Licensure as an LPN in the State of Florida
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate in more than one language
- One or more years of experience in a skilled nursing facility

And that's what the right candidate will find at our skilled nursing facility located in North Miami, FL. We're looking for FULL TIME LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSES FOR DAY AND EVENING 12 HOUR SHIFTS - able to work alongside medical professionals who bring equal amounts of compassion and expertise to serving the needs of a diverse patient population. Must be able to work one Saturday or one Sunday every other weekend. The ideal candidate will not only be skilled in assessing patients and providing care, but will also use critical thinking and good judgment to integrate objective data with the subjective nature of each patient's biological, physical, and behavioral needs. With assistance from an exceptional LPN, we can continue our mission of helping individuals achieve a life of health and wellness.
