We are currently seeking an Essentials Assembler to join our team in Memphis, TN.

Your Role At Batesville


As an Essentials Assembler, you will be responsible for product assembly, proper care/handling of inventory, and always following safe practices and standard work procedures.

The expected pay for this role is $18.00 per hour.

Actual compensation within this range may be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, skills, experience, and location.

What You'll Do

Ensure adherence to governmental regulations (DOT, OSHA) and company policies and procedures.
Participate in cross-functional projects to improve company performance.
Perform line work as required to meet production demands and simple assembly with basic hand tools.
Maintain a clean work environment and all applicable equipment.
Assist in the achievement of departmental and company goals.
Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
Other duties may be assigned.

What You'll Bring

Computer literacy skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Work a flexible shift as needed.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Nice To Haves

Ability to train/manage/lead/understand LEAN or CI activities and initiatives.
Three years of Production Line experience.
Forklift training with both sit down and standup lifts.
