**Job Summary**: Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, provides nursing care to ensure client receives optimum quality cost-effective care.

• Promotes an atmosphere of professionalism cooperation respect dignity in all communication interaction with clients their families colleagues.
• Facilitates orderly performance agency's functions by observing policies standards conduct.
• Assist clients ensure prescribed plan care followed administer medication conformance policy procedures observe each client possible signs intoxication prior dispensing notify NM/designee immediately maintain accurate accounting medication received dispensed document maintain client medical records adhering institutional regulatory agency mandates perform tasks responsibilities framework casefinding health teaching health counseling provision supportive restorative care under direction registered professional nurse perform duties within scope practice role model staff clients other duties assigned by Nurse Manager maintain good working relationships employees participate Job Training Education Programs Meetings Committees attend mandatory in-service annually participate various committees meetings requested seminars further professional development

Requirements:
* Must possess sight digital senses prosthetics enable essential functions job completed
JOB COMPETENCY:

• Current NYS LPN License
• Current NYS Infection Control Certificate
• Minimum one year experience as an LPN preferably in a substance abuse treatment program
